General Utility Worker at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
General Utility Worker
Join our team at the West Facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI, where you will rotate through various roles including sanitation/pack-off, packing, palletizing, and box making. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on production and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Sanitation/Pack-Off: Dispose of extra materials, break down and dispose of incoming packages and labels, separate trash into trash, cardboard, and plastic, and spray machines and containers with disinfectant.
- Packer: Assist with machine start-ups and disassembly for sanitation, place bags of finished goods into boxes, visually inspect finished goods for defects, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Palletizer: Inspect cases for proper sealing and labeling, operate pallet jack to move finished pallets, assemble and disassemble machinery for sanitation, document findings, and palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
- Box Maker: Maintain boxes and labels for production lines, ensure labeling matches spec sheets, check boxes for damage, document the movement of finished and raw materials, and palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
Essential Skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs continuously throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- At least 1 year of work history.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production, general production, packaging, and inspection.

Starting pay of $17/hr.
Work Environment
This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday to Friday from 3:45 pm to 1 am, with most Saturdays included. Expect to work 50+ hours a week, limited to 60 hours, with overtime for any hours over 8 per shift. The work environment is a GMP food production facility, requiring overcoats, gloves, hardhats, earplugs, safety glasses, and knee-high non-slip rubber boots. The production floor is refrigerated, maintaining temperatures between 30-40 degrees.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
