Generative AI Lead Engineer at VDart Inc

Role: Generative AI Lead Engineer. Location: Houston TX Or Dallas TX (Onsite). Duration: Long Term Contract. Role Overview: As a Gen AI Lead Engineer you will design develop and deliver production-grade generative AI solutions leveraging large language models (LLMs) such as Google Gemini and GPT-3. The role requires deep expertise in prompt engineering evaluation debugging and optimization of LLMs alongside strong database management skills including writing efficient SQL queries and maintaining secure performant databases in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement robust Gen AI solutions aligned with project requirements using Google Gemini Gemini Code Assist Gemini AI and other large language models. Create debug and optimize LLM prompts and evaluation prompts to rigorously test and improve model accuracy using LLMs themselves. Develop and maintain databases and data storage solutions across Azure Blob Storage and GCP Cloud Storage ensuring optimal performance and security. Design implement and maintain retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to improve AI response relevance and information retrieval. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Gen AI capabilities into enterprise workflows and applications. Lead efforts in prompt engineering LLM orchestration evaluation and observability frameworks. Ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles including privacy fairness and security. Required Technical Skills: Proficient use of Google Gemini and Azure AI platforms. Expertise with Large Language Models especially GPT-3 and domain-specific LLM implementations. Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems. Hands-on skills with cloud storage solutions including Azure Blob Storage GCP Cloud Storage. Strong SQL skills for database querying and reporting. Experience writing complex eval prompts for model testing and validation.
