Position: MaintenancePosting Date: November 20 2025Report to: Assigned AdministratorGenoa Area Local Schools is looking for a highly motivated self-sufficient individual to maintain upkeep district facilities and equipment. QualificationsMust have a high school diploma GED or equivalentPossess or be able to obtain a Class B commercial drivers license(with passenger endorsement) to operate a school bus forklift and other heavy equipment Must be able to read blueprintsBe physically able to handle 75 poundsMust have working knowledge of facility maintenance or experience in commercial electrical. Must be capable of working on plumbing refrigerators air conditioners freezers water coolers air handling units dedicated outside air systems HVAC outside sprinklers etc. (not exhaustive list)Must be able to follow instructions and offer corrections when neededJob Responsibility:Manage District Maintenance & Preventive Services & Repairs such as (not exhaustive list)Installation or replacement of electrical wiring and devices in compliance with commercial electrical codeInstall replace and/or repair hot water boilers hot water tanks water coolers adjust pressure switches water flow switches electric and gas valves electric motors sump pumps exhaust fans dishwashers ovens refrigerators freezers ice cream machinery ice makers and various types of HVAC and maintaining drain lines with proper jobs of different Athletic Fields sprinkler systemsWhen needed operate a school bus for purposes of maintenance and occasional transportation of studentsEvents setupExemplifies professionalism that advances the districts public imageMaintains open/effective communicationPursues opportunities to enhance professional performanceEnsures SafetyComplete work orders that are assignedKeep a safe clean and orderly work areaPerform other job-related duties that are assignedFrequent evening and/or weekend work can occur for urgent repairsHours: Monday - Friday (6:30 am - 3:00 pm)Contact (with Resume)- Cody McPherson Superintendent at N.
