For UNR Med professional job postings please contact the Office of Professional Recruitment at .Job DescriptionThe University of Nevada Reno is recruiting for a Genotyping Specialist with the College of Agriculture Biotechnology & Natural position reports to Dr. Brad Ferguson.Genotyping Specialist supports the Nevada Center for Cardiovascular Research at UNRs School of Medicine by providing technical training consultation and operational oversight related to phenotyping equipment and transgenic mouse models. Responsibilities include training researchers on advanced laboratory equipment (e.g. ddPCR echocardiography telemetry systems) managing complex mouse colonies and performing molecular biology techniques such as genotyping and PCR.
