Title:GEOINT SupervisorA KBR Supervisor is an essential part of the companys leadership structure and is essential to attract and retain qualified experienced mission-focused talent.As a supervisor you have a dual role as a manager for the corporation as well as a champion for all the employees within the team. The supervisors primary responsibility is to be a champion for the employees they supervise. You should engage regularly and build a cohesive and productive team working environment. You will work on Program directly for the customer ideally with the people you supervise. When the Program gives feedback you will respond with action to reward or correct the situation. It is fundamentally important that your team is effective and motivated to complete the customers mission. You will work with Program Managers on tasks like work allocations technical skillset alignments staffing new positions and strategic alignment of customer priorities with our own. You may work staffing tasks for proposals and program ramp-ups. You will work on development and learning plans for your employees based on mutual goal setting. You may choose to schedule off-site morale outings and one-on-ones on a regular basis to achieve an agile performance review approach. You will collaborate with the corporate functional areas such as Human Resources Security Talent Acquisition and Contracts. You may be assigned 1 to 12 employees to supervise depending on the business needs of the company.The primary areas of responsibility for this Supervisor position are current and future GEOINT Contracts. You must be approved by the customer to work on the program.Key ResponsibilitiesPersonnel SupervisionProvide accessible leadership to the employee workforce on a daily basisAid in developing planning and implementing individual employee-focused career development plansProvide advice and counsel for training leadership and career broadening opportunities/activitiesDemonstrate commitment by example to the workforce for corporate policies and proceduresProvide support to employees during times of professional and personal crisisParticipate in employee transition events including; career mentoring developing Position Descriptions and working with KBR Talent Acquisition to identify qualified candidatesManagement SupportRecruit and interview candidates to fill current and projected vacanciesRecommend personnel actions to OU LeadershipDocument employee performance recognition for exceptional performance through KBROne awards and as part of the continuous performance reviewsProvide bi-annual summaries and associated compensation recommendations for assigned TeamManage the Utilization Rate (UR) of assigned Team personnelCommunicate the status of Team members to OU leadershipProvide business intelligence and insight in a competitive environmentSupport Business Development/Capture Proposal effort supportDevelop and maintain a detailed understanding of the OUs technical capabilities and how they relate to achieving corporate strategic objectivesIdentify intra-OU and inter-Sector opportunities to leverage skills and lessons across the CompanyWork Environment:Location: On-siteTravel Requirements: 25%Working Hours: StandardRequired QualificationsClearance: Active TS/SCI with a current PolygraphEducation: Bachelors of Science Degree in a relevant technical field or businessManagement: Small team management expertiseCoaching: Demonstrated Mentoring/Coaching skills for a wide variety of employees at multiple experience levelsProgram Management: Understanding of Program Management including LCATs and FTEsExperience: Human Capital management experienceCommunication: Excellent written and oral communication skills3 years of experience in the Customer DomainProven experience within the KBR corporationDesired Qualifications:Education: Advanced degreeBelong Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
