ANS is a rapidly growing, emerging civil engineering firm focusing on civil, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering for renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the US. “MUST-HAVE” PROFILE OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE INCLUDE:BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related degreeValid US Drivers License, and a reliable means of transportationFlexibility and willingness to travel, on occasion, and for multiple consecutive days periods of times (est. up to one week at a time, once per month)Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to find solutions to problems, and get-it-done attitude!Proficiency with Microsoft Office productsMinimum 3 years of experience in consulting engineering, or related fieldExperience in preparing Engineering Reports with strong technical writing skillsExperience with working within and leading team environmentsWorking knowledge of geotechnical principles and engineering design“NICE-TO-HAVE” SKILLS FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MAY INCLUDE:Technical licensure track including EIT, GIT, PE, PG, PMP, or similar.Experience in planning, implementing, overseeing, and managing subsurface investigation programsPrior experience with geotechnical investigations, including soil borings, rock coring, and material testingExperience with design of foundations, support of excavation systems, and preparing reportsPrior experience with geotechnical software (gINT, GeoStudio, LPILE, ALLPILE, DeepEx, etc.)Familiarity with renewable energy sectorTHE CHALLENGES THAT LIE AHEAD INCLUDE:Working alongside a team of high-performing engineering and technical professionalsPerforming geotechnical field investigations, construction observation, and engineering evaluation and technical analysisPreparing technical reports and summaries, and interfacing directly with coworkers, clients, and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendationsCompleting technical analyses, including foundation design, support of excavation, and other engineering evaluationsActively participating in your career growth, including the opportunity to join elective continuing education courses, being involved in community and professional societies, and managing projects and experiences that stretch you outside of your comfort zone to grow you as a professional. ANS Offers the following benefits to full-time employees:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceUnlimited Paid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insurance If you’re ready to work on impactful projects that shape the renewable energy future, ANS is the place for you.
