This is your chance to join our team - help us to design the infrastructure and buildings that improve the world.We are currently seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer capable of managing geotechnical aspects of projects, performing geotechnical analyses, providing geotechnical and foundation recommendations, and providing geotechnical recommendations during construction. Responsibilities:The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Managing and delivering quality geotechnical services on-time and within budgetPreparing and modifying reports, specifications, plan details, and designs for projectsServing as a technical resource on a team with multiple disciplinesPreparing and managing subsurface exploration programsPreparing cost estimates, determining scope of work, and preparing proposalsCoordinating and ensuring completeness and accuracy of design effortUsing design software to prepare engineering recommendationsParticipation in Design/Build efforts including consulting with contractor/construction personnel about constructability and cost as recommendations relate to field conditions, sequencing and scheduling of construction activitiesWork on-site for client or in a project office when neededParticipates in project scoping and fee estimating, proposal preparation and interviewsPerform design calculations and conduct investigations towards design recommendations and development of contract documents (plans, specifications, and estimates) Requirements:Bachelor's degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering, Master’s degree specializing preferredMust have 11-15 years of experience in geotechnical designExperience with static and dynamic load testing, highly desiredField experience relating to site grading, slope stabilization, retaining wall and foundation construction, highly desiredProfessional Engineer Certification requiredDesign Build experience preferredBenefits:WRA recognizes that employees play an important role in its success.
