Job Description

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Psychologist / Geriatrics

We are partnered with an established primary care medical practice specializing in geriatric care that is seeking a compassionate and motivated Geriatric Psychologist to join their fully remote clinical team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with full benefits, offering the chance to provide high-quality behavioral health services to older adults in a collaborative, integrated care environment.

This role allows for meaningful patient relationships, with an average caseload of 8–10 patients per day, ensuring thoughtful, patient-centered care.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for geriatric patients
  • Diagnose and treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, and cognitive disorders
  • Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based interventions
  • Perform cognitive and memory assessments as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with primary care providers and clinical teams
  • Document evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans in the EMR
  • Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Florida regulations, and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology
  • Florida-licensed Psychologist or postdoctoral psychologist (license-eligible)
  • Experience working with geriatric or aging populations
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical judgment skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting

Preferred:

  • Experience with cognitive testing and dementia-related assessments
  • Background in integrated care, primary care, or medical settings
  • EMR/EHR experience (Meditech a plus)
