Job Overview: Weare seeking a versatile andcustomer-oriented Home ServicesTechnician to join our team at Marvin HomeCenter. This full-time role involves hands-on work likedrywall, finish carpentry, and window/door installation. Theideal candidate enjoys solving problems and workingindependently. In addition to fieldwork, this positionincludes maintenance jobs for Marvin Headquarters andVisitor’s Center, and in-store support with sales, stocking,and inventory during slower periods. The role alsoinvolves being on-call for maintenance and emergency repairs atcompany-owned Warroad Real Estate properties, requiring seasonalcheckups and coordination with contractors. This is a full-timeposition with weekday hours and weekend on-callresponsibilities.  Schedule: Monday–Friday,full-time. On-call Weekends for Warroad RealEstate.  Highlights ofyour role: Manage and perform small repair,installation, and maintenance jobs for residential and lightcommercial customers and Marvin Headquarters and VisitorCenter buildings, including but not limitedto: Drywall patching andrepairSiding ang gutterrepairBasic landscaping andtrimmingPressure washing and windowcleaningWindow installation andadjustmentsFinish carpentry, trim work, and custom woodprojectsShelving, cabinets, countertops, doors,window coverings, weatherstripping, andother handyman tasks Provideon-site evaluations to recommend solutions andmaterials. Deliverexcellent customer service both in-store and at jobsites. Safely operate hand and powertools in compliance with company and safetyguidelines. Maintain accurate records of workcompleted, materials used, and timespent. Load,transport, and unload materials for projects asneeded. Collaborate with store staff to ensureprojects are completed efficiently and meet customerexpectations.  Thisperson will also be on call for company-owned WarroadReal Estateproperties. Performing routinemaintenance Seasonal checkupsEmergencyrepairs Coordinating advanced repairs with preferredcontractors and managing the needed repairs untilcompletion You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):Proven handyman,maintenance, or construction experience.Required skills:drywall repair, window and door installation, and finishcarpentry. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellentcommunication and customer service skills.Comfortableworking at various heights on ladders and in confined/small spaceswhen needed. Ability to work independently and manage multipleprojects.
