- Conduct field data collection and GIS mapping.
- Assist with Outside Plant Telecom projects and utility-related construction work.
- Digitize, edit, integrate, verify, and manage geospatial data and attributes using GIS software.
- Compile, extract, and organize geographic data from a variety of sources.
- Produce time-sensitive GIS reports and maps for clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Perform database design and GIS analysis to generate summary statistics for telecom design.
- Convert GIS databases between multiple formats, including shapefiles, geodatabases, Excel, KMZ/KML.
- Continuously improve operations, streamline work processes, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in a GIS-related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in ESRI GIS software: ArcPro, Collector, ArcOnline, ArcGIS Desktop 10.x, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server.
- Field data collection experience (telecom or utility work preferred).
- Knowledge of Outside Plant Telecom and/or utility-related construction practices preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet customer specifications.
- Travel required: This role involves regular travel to job sites.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a substance abuse screening test.
- Standard schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts), with occasional variations based on project needs.
