We pride ourselves on delivering state-of-the-art advertising solutions that integrate seamlessly with todays ever-evolving digital media landscape.The Opportunity:The GL Accountant will work directly with the Sr. Accounting Manager and needs to demonstrate initiative and technical competence to handle duties related to the month-end closing annual audit financial reporting reconciliations and analysis for the Finance Department. The GL Accountant should enjoy a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Perform monthly accounting close activities including but not limited to performing GL account flux analyses preparing account reconciliations and preparing journal entries for commissions taxes internal software capitalization fixed assets and other period-end adjustments.Record and maintain accruals for commissions taxes and other period-end adjustments.Assist Sr. Accounting Manager in reviewing other team members accruals and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.Support preparation and documentation of technical accounting memos in compliance with US GAAP.Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the annual financial audit including preparing supporting schedules and explanations.Participate in ad hoc analyses and projects including process improvements and automation initiatives.Help maintain and strengthen internal controls over accounting processes and reporting.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales operations and customer service to address revenue-related inquiries and resolve issues.Assist the companys quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740 considering both current and deferred taxes. Collaborate with R&D tax finance and accounting teams to gather necessary data for accurate calculations.Assist with the creation and implementation of scalable processes policies and internal controls across various revenue expense and balance sheet account activities.Support special projects and other accounting duties as appropriate.Develop tools and processes to improve the gathering and preparation of financial information to ensure that all submission requirements are met.Maintain and apply knowledge of US GAAP and possibly SEC reporting requirements.Requirements:Bachelors degree in AccountingAbility to manipulate large amounts of data in a complicated entity structureProven knowledge of accounting principles practices standards laws and regulationsStrong understanding of US GAAP and FASB codification and pronouncementsStrong understanding of revenue recognition principles ASC 606/IFRS 15 and related guidance.Excellent communication skillsSuccess in a fast-paced startup environmentProven track record of cross functional relationships across the organizationERP System experience with NetSuite is a plusStrong drive and great work ethic with a get it done attitudeMust be a positive proactive think outside the box and organized team player with strong communication skills (written verbal listening)High attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining the big pictureAbility to work in a fast-paced environment prioritize appropriately and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidanceAdvanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills (such as pivot tables vlookup and data analysis)LG Ad Solutions provides equal work opportunities to all team members and applicants and it prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type on the basis of race color ethnicity caste religion age sex (including pregnancy) national origin disability status genetics protected veteran status sexual orientation gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by our policies or federal state or local laws.We want to ensure that our hiring process is accessible.
