Job Description SummaryThe Global Competitiveness Leader is a key leadership role in our Wind Commercial team responsible for developing and executing on our pricing strategy in collaboration with our new unit and services commercial leadership team and driving analytically backed view of our transactional competitiveness to enable overall Wind strategy.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Coordinates with CCO and cross-functionally to develop competitive pricing strategies to enable GEV Wind financial results and maneuver changing market and competitive dynamics.Develops and executes new unit repower and services pricing strategies that optimizes price for value equation delivered to customers. Proactively develops bid price strategies to enable an estimated $40B of proposals per year to achieve financial and volume targets. Works directly with customers to challenge them to see full value of GEV offerings vs competition. Leads team completing transactional pricing analytics and economic competitiveness comparisons used by commercial team to build winning bid strategies across all new unit opportunities and FSA/ transactional services pricing across 60000 wind turbines in GEV fleet.Responsible for delivering a clear view of our competitive position in all markets to drive NPI and other product/services strategic decisions and investments.Brings thought leadership around current market customer and project economic conditions and owns GEV Winds lead tool for wind project modeling and product analytics.Monitors market and customer signals to proactively adjust pricing strategies to maximize shareholder value including maneuvering through dynamics such as tariffs and inflation.Utilizes LEAN and standard work to drive a systematic approach to competitiveness including pricing and win/loss KPIs in L1 and L2 Bowlers. Drives use of LEAN tools to problem-solve and recover to target as needed.Uses problem solving skills and analytics and customer feedback/insights to determine product and service competitiveness gaps and socialize with other functions (i.e. Product Strategy and Sourcing) as an enabler to improvement. Inspires motivates and directs a high-performing global team fostering an environment of healthy debate around commercial strategy supported by strong analytics.Required Qualifications:Minimum 10 years experience in commercial analytics and pricing strategy.Deep understanding of global electricity markets wind economics and project financing fundamentals. Extensive knowledge of wind product and service value levers LCOE competitive landscape including technology/products financials and sourcing strategies.Exhibits exemplary change management communication and analytical skills effectively engaging with SLT and cross-functional stakeholders to build alignment and trust.Bachelors Degree or advanced degree from an accredited university or college in economics engineering business or similar.For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $208000 and $312000 USD.
