Were exploring new ideas and opportunities innovatingto discover the breakthroughs necessary for tomorrows growth.Job Summary:The Global Logistics Procurement Systems and Process Analyst supports the execution of designing developing deploying and monitoring procurement capabilities to provide business solutions that are globally effective & applicable.Additional Info:This role is located in Morton IL and does not offer relocationThis role is 1st shiftThis role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedulesThis role requires up to 5% domestic travelWhat You Will Do: Supports projects associated with lean processes global market understanding tools and systems especially Salesforce and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).Designs and develops solutions collaborates with senior stakeholders and business users to collect VOB/VOC business requirements and prepares implementation plans for successful deployment.Contributes to strategic initiatives such as the development of standardized best practices offerings services and development of associated tools & training.Supports the lead technical representatives for a respective discipline and will work directly with a wide range of procurement / enterprise representatives including presenting recommendations to senior leaders.What You Have (Required Skills): Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying evaluating introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.Data Analytics: Knowledge of techniques and processes for inspecting cleansing transforming and modelling data; ability to discover useful information draw logical conclusions and support decision-making.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):TMS experience (Blue Yonder etc.)Salesforce experienceLogistics/Supply Chain experienceWhat You Will Get:Through it all we areone team creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.Learn more about theCaterpillar Experience.Summary Pay Range:$110520.00 - $165840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience.
