These products are used in commercial infrastructure and industrial applications to protect people and property.Serve as Victaulics lead internal auditor for ISO 9001 quality management systems across global facilities. Acting as a consultant and facilitator this role identifies opportunities for improvement shares best practices across the enterprise and partners with site leaders and executives to strengthen quality systems effectiveness. This position serves as a trusted advisor to drive continuous improvement while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Audit Program Leadership (50%)Develop and maintain annual risk-based internal audit schedule for global manufacturing and distribution facilitiesPlan and conduct ISO 9001 systems audits at 8-12 sites annually (domestic and international)Audit corporate quality processes including supplier quality management PCAR/SCAR systems PER processes foundry operations and quality KPIsExecute audits using a consultative approach focused on process effectiveness and business impact not just complianceProduce clear actionable audit reports with findings observations and improvement recommendationsTrack corrective action plans and verify effectiveness of implemented solutionsChange Management & Facilitation (30%)Partner with site leaders and executives to facilitate acceptance and implementation of audit recommendationsUse influencing skills to drive change without direct authority - build consensus rather than mandate complianceConduct root cause analysis sessions with cross-functional teams to address systemic issuesSupport sites in developing practical corrective actions that align with business realitiesNavigate organizational resistance and build trust across all levels of the organizationKnowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement (15%)Identify and document best practices observed during site auditsCreate mechanisms to transfer successful approaches across facilities (playbooks case studies lunch-and-learns)Mentor local quality engineers on audit techniques ISO 9001 requirements and problem-solving methodsServe as internal ISO 9001 subject matter expert and resource for quality questionsSupport preparation for external certification audits by coaching sites on readinessProgram Development (5%)Maintain internal audit procedures tools and templatesDevelop audit metrics and executive dashboards for program effectivenessIntegrate audit processes into Ideagen QMS platform as implementation progressesStay current on ISO 9001 standards updates and industry best practicesParticipate in quality strategic initiatives as neededKey Success FactorsThis role will succeed if the person can:Build credibility and trust with site leaders and executives quicklyDeliver tough messages in a way that motivates improvement rather than defensivenessBalance compliance requirements with business pragmatismSee the forest and the trees - understand both system-level gaps and operational realitiesFacilitate change without formal authorityTransfer knowledge effectively across cultural and geographic boundariesRequired QualificationsEducation & Certification:Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Operations Management or related fieldISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (IRCA Exemplar Global or equivalent accredited body)Active certification status with ongoing professional developmentExperience:7 years in quality systems roles within manufacturing environments3 years conducting internal or external ISO 9001 auditsDemonstrated experience in multi-site or global quality operationsProven track record of influencing change without direct authorityExperience working with executive-level stakeholdersTechnical Skills:Deep understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and ISO 19011 auditing principlesKnowledge of quality tools (8D 5-Why fishbone FMEA etc.)Proficiency with QMS software platformsStrong data analysis and reporting skillsExperience in manufacturing process quality (machining assembly testing)Core Competencies:Influencing & Persuasion - can change minds without positional powerRelationship Building - establishes trust quickly across cultures and levelsFacilitation & Coaching - helps others see solutions rather than imposing themBusiness Acumen - understands how quality impacts business performanceCommunication Excellence - written and verbal communication tailored to audienceCultural Sensitivity - effective working across international sitesResilience - handles pushback professionally and maintains objectivityPreferred Qualifications:Six Sigma Green Belt or Black BeltExperience in pipe valve coupling or flow control manufacturingSecond language capability (Spanish German or Mandarin)ASQ certifications (CQA CQE CQM)Change management training or certificationWorking ConditionsTravel 50-60% (domestic and international including trips of 3-7 days)Near major international airport (ex.
