Our equity analysts cover over 3000 stocks; our economists strategists and fixed income analysts cover all major regions and other asset classes around the globe.We are currently seeking an experienced Associate-level member to join the Global Research Management Team. Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport development and execution of strategic global initiatives that shape the direction of the Research franchiseAnticipate needs and deliver information data or products before being asked to enable senior leadership to move quicklyPartner with senior leadership on product strategy and content curation for weekly publications to ensure our global output aligns with client needs and market trendsOwn the departments global non-comp budgeting and expense tracking processes including monthly financial reporting accruals and vendor management ensuring resources align with strategic prioritiesPrepare and present accurate financial reports for senior management to support data-driven decision makingConduct ad hoc data-driven analyses on expense categories (e.g. travel market data) to uncover trends and identify efficienciesMonitor consulting spend and related headcount by region and function providing insights that support resource planningCoordinate across regional COO teams to drive global consistency strengthen cross-regional connectivity and advance integrated firmwide initiativesDrive planning for leadership meetings and offsites shaping agendas to support strategic prioritiesAnalyze key business metrics (readership client time product mix votes etc.) and performance of Research analysts to inform Research strategy and enhance commercial impactCollaborate with Research tech management and IT teams to accelerate AI adoption and modernization efforts bridging business and technology needs and supporting department-wide tech initiativesSupport meeting preparation and curation of marketing materials that amplify the global Research offeringQualifications1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Research Investment Banking Capital Markets Sales Finance Consulting or related fieldsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure analysis work with large datasets and extract actionable insightsExperience with financial modeling reporting and professional writingExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact confidently with all levels of the organization and convey complex information with clarityDemonstrated ability to take ownership operate in a fast-paced environment be adaptable and manage shifting priorities with minimal oversightStrong attention to detail high level of accountability high standards for accuracy positive attitude and exceptional work ethic is a mustGenuine interest in financial markets research and technology/AI integrationIntellectual curiosity sound judgment and willingness to learn quicklyBachelors degree requiredWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
