Job Description SummaryThe Global Supplier Software Deliverables Leader will be responsible for overall coordination and execution of acquiring and closing out key supplier software deliverables to GEV. This includes serving as the primary liaison for supplier documentation deliverable resolution compliance hold resolution etc along with working to improve and lean processes both inside Sourcing as well as Engineering.Job DescriptionWork cross-functionally with engineering sourcing suppliers projects & logistics in coordinating efforts to ensure Supplier documentation flows efficiently and on time from suppliers to engineering including advocating for documentation acceptance where practicalPartner with Engineering teams in improving the overall Supplier documentation process to create one lean efficient program that minimizes steps minimizes the amount of overall documentation and improves speed to ensure customer satisfactionServe as the primary subject matter expert to the Supply base in ensuring understanding of key content requirements tools used deadlines etcPartner with global sourcing teams to execute other project MSD requirements and related operations as needed such as Compliance requirements sourcing restriction translations etc. Improve cross-functional processes as necessary to minimize impact to OTDMay lead cross-functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.Required QualificationsBachelors degree from an accredited college or universitySubstantive experience in any of Sourcing Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations or Project Management of at least 5 yearsRelevant experience in Power generation / Oil & Gas sectorsDesired CharacteristicsDemonstrated Team Leadership Experience and Capabilities Proactive self-starterHigh motivation and influencing skills Strong interpersonal / facilitation skillsStrong quantitative and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to operate with global customers suppliers and employee base to execute scope of deliverablesDemonstrated technical aptitude & business acumenCross-functional and International team experienceStrong project management and process improvement skill; Change agent with ability to influence at all levels of the organizationProcess leadership experience such as Lean Six Sigma CAP Action WorkOuts process improvement; CPM or APICS certification (not mandatory)Prior experience in expediting / fulfilment negotiating identifying opportunities supplier management and cash recoveries (not mandatory)Additional InformationGE Vernova offers a great work environment professional development challenging careers and competitive compensation. Relocation Assistance Provided: NoFor candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $125000.00 and $208300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
