GM Certified Diesel Technician at McCarthy Auto World

We're looking for a dependable and motivated Light Duty Technician to join our GMC service team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values quality, and wants to grow their automotive career in a positive, team-oriented shop.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine maintenance and light repairs (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, batteries, etc.)
• Complete multi-point inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Assist with basic diagnostics using dealership tools and equipment
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
• Work closely with service advisors and other technicians
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized

What We're Looking For

• Previous technician experience preferred (entry-level candidates with training welcome)
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
