As a Gold Floor Attendant with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts you will be an ambassador for the exceptional VIP service and specialty cuisine that are hallmarks of our luxury lifestyle brand. Your warm personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding Gold Floor Attendant offering allows our guests to experience unique consistent luxury while enjoying the services provided by our Fairmont Gold Lounge. Fairmont Gold is our exclusive hotel-within-a-hotel consisting of 45 luxury rooms and suites. Our dedicated Fairmont Gold team strives to deliver the highest level of personalized service while providing exclusive Food & Beverage service in our private Fairmont Gold Lounge.What you will be doing:Provide unique dining experiences to all of our guests through warm personal & detailed service in a luxury upscale and fast paced environment.Ensure a positive first impression of Fairmont Gold for our guests through detailed cleanliness set-up and ambiance control.Distribution and delivery of guests food orders out onto the service floor and serving them at their tables to the correct guestMaintain complete knowledge of all F&B services contents & preparation methods outlets and hotel services/featuresMaintain cleanliness of all chinaware. Monitor quality and consistency of all menu items being servedMaintain clean and orderly condition of the service line station.Daily requisition of all food condiments and to ensure adequate stock levels of all necessary dishware linen and condiments for daily service operationsClear and tidy up bar counter after the departure of the patrons as quickly as possibleTry to remember individual patrons names and their preferences to extend a personalized serviceEnsure that all food & beverage are served according to service standardPerform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set all tables according to standards and proceduresAssist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when requiredApply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the HotelQualifications : Your experience and skills include:Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all timesGood reading writing and oral proficiency in English languageAbility to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantageAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a teamDetailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.Provide the necessary State and Federal Requirements to work in Food and Beverage (Tuberculosis Clearance)Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage (Blue Liquor Card)Additional Information : Hourly Rate: $25.24 USDVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
