Job Description

Work Type: Part-time/Seasonal Nature of Work: This work involves monitoring golf course grounds, the play of golfers, and assisting with the operation of the clubhouse. Education and Experience: (The knowledge, skills, and abilities above may be acquired through, but are not limited to, the following combination of education and/or experience.) Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Knowledge of the rules and play of the game of golf* Ability to communicate effectively with workmates and the public* Ability to drive a golf cart and operate a two-way radio* Ability to understand written and oral instructions* Ability to sit from 75 to 100% and stand and walk up to 25% of the work day Essential Functions: (Any one position may not perform all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all of the duties that may be performed in positions allocated to this classification.) * Drives a golf cart to patrol the golf course, checks golfers receipts, ensures that the game is played properly and promptly by golfers, and cautions or removes those guilty of rules infractions* Picks up trash and litter from the course* Assists in the operation of the clubhouse* Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates within the scope of this classification Special Qualifications: Pay Range: Depends on Experience Benefits: Not applicable to part-time/seasonal employment Who Can Apply: Any person who meets the qualifications and other requirements described in this posting.
