You will be in charge of cooking and preparing food, as well as ensuring meals are presented to the customers in an attractive and timely manner.Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for menu items - Cook food in various utensils or grillers - Check food while it is cooking to ensure quality - Ensure great presentation by arranging and garnishing food before serving - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Check quality of ingredientsQualifications: - Proven experience as a Cook - Ability to follow all sanitation procedures - Excellent physical condition and stamina - High level of creativity and ability to work under pressure - Valid Food Hygiene Certificate - Certificate in Culinary Arts or related field and/or relevant course work - Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17 to $19 per hourBenefits (all employees):Employee discountDAYS ONLY schedule!Benefits (FT employees):401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insurancePhysical Setting:Upscale casual restaurantSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availability
