The SoC Automotive Embedded SW team is looking for a Graduate Applications Engineer who is expected to collaborate across departments and interact with internal and external customers. This role will support the development of SW solutions related to ADAS IVI Connected Gateway and Industrial segments involving in domains such as Vision analytics Video pipeline Graphics Connectivity AI compute at Edge and etc. and also support technical marketing activities such as technical deep dives (internal or external) RFI/RFQ responses and other technical activities.This is a role within the High Performance Computing / HSBD organization to support technical marketing and engineering development of system solutions for the ADAS IVI Connected Gateway and Industrial segments. Interfacing with colleagues from development marketing sales FAE and other Application Engineering teams is required as well as technical customer engagement as necessary.Responsibilities:Act as solutions specialist for applications in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) automotive In-vehicle Infotainment (IVI) connected gateway (CoGW) and industrial such as robotics factory automation data center and etc.Develop new concepts to increase the value of existing products and prepare the definition of new products.Develop Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) and demo properties for internal and external use.Support concept to product migration. Provide application support to customers business partners and internal stakeholders.Prepare sales collaterals workshop materials and application notes. Interact with our global teams in Japan U.S. Europe China and AsiaAble to independently learn about Renesas SOC portfolio with focus on detailed technical topicsParticipate solution development from SW perspective including SW development and SW process tasksSupport internal and external customer engagement from technical perspective such as RFI/RFQ responses technical topic deep dives and etcQualifications : Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
