Graphic Designer (Production)Location: New York, NY (Wednesday & Thursday onsite; Monday, Tuesday, & Friday remote)Duration: ongoing contract Pay rate: $30-$35/hrWe are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our design team for a contract opportunity in our production environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deliver clean print-ready artwork following our guidelines in a fast-paced production environment.Responsibilities:Design and produce print materials for our in-store retail locationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design needs and objectivesProduce a variety of visually appealing print materials including signage, flyers, banners, posters, booklets, etc. with a retail audience in mindOptimize digital images and assets for printEnsure that all designs align with brand guidelines and convey the desired messageManage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with quick turnaround timesStay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative design conceptsWork on other assigned projects beyond print work, as neededOnline portfolio of work is REQUIRED.Qualifications:3+ years experience in a design/production environmentExperience designing for a retail environment, or a related industryExcellent Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop experienceExperience working with SketchUpSignificant experience with print graphic design projects and a portfolio of samplesBA/BS in Design or equivalent work experienceExcellent attention to detailStrong communication skillsSelf-motivated and capable of working independently
