Job Details Legal Address - Meridian MSDescription Job Title: Graphic ArtistJob Type: Full timeJob Summary: The Graphic Artist will work under the guidance of the Art Department Manager and will be required to work in a fast-paced signage manufacturing facility and should be highly motivated and detail orientated. This position facilitates the designing of concepts and brand packages while collaborating with the sales team on customer expectations and needs along with municipality and landlord requirements. The role requires a strong artistic skill technical proficiency attention to detail and excellent communication. He/She should have a solid working- knowledge of Microsoft Office Corel Draw and Adobe Suite. Basic understanding of Gerber Composer Omega is also helpful. Key Responsibilities:Address any issues that arise during the production processCreate initial design concepts and final layouts for client approval selecting appropriate colors fonts and materials. Use design software Corel Draw along with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and manipulate graphicsReview designs for accuracy checking for spelling color and sizing errorsWork closely with the production team to ensure designs can be fabricated correctly and efficiently. Prioritize each day efficiently complete sketch request revisions and work order file set upStay current on design trends materials fabrication methods and regulations including ADA compliance Learn and have an understanding of the printing and fabrications process involved in sign productionManage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently and simultaneouslyMaintain effective team relationships with all support departments to communicate and coordinate effectivelyAddress any issues that arise during the production processFollows all company policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required; advance education degree preferredProficient in Adobe Suite and Corel Draw with basic understanding of Gerber Composer OmegaAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines; Able to work well under pressure to output high volume high quality workFlexibility and adaptability to handle changing prioritiesPrevious experience in sign industry a plusPositive attitude Key Skills Graphic Design,Layout Design,Logo Design,CAD,Adobe Creative Suite,SolidWorks,Drafting,Adobe Photoshop,Autocad,Adobe Illustrator,Catia,Adobe Indesign Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
