Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Grill Cook will be involved in the broiler, grill, and sauté stations of the kitchen. Providing exceptional service to our exclusive clientele will require an individual that has a passion for service and a knack for working in a collaborative environment. The Club is closed most major holidays and offers PTO, paid sick days, and 2 paid personal days after your first 90 days of employment. Required to work 3 Sundays per year.ResponsibilitiesInspect and clean food preparation areas, ensure freshness of food and ingredients, and that food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature.Collaborate on menu and food preparation techniques and substitutions when necessary.Present, portion, and garnish food in an appealing mannerQualificationsWilling and flexible to work some weekends and holidaysKnowledgeable in various cooking and baking techniquesMust have prior culinary experienceAttention to detailService orientedSERV safe certification preferredExperience3 or more years working in the service (food and beverage) industry. Created in 1912 by a group of business professionals interested in promoting social and athletic endeavors, the ACC remains an integral part of the Columbus business and political communities. The Club is rich in history and tradition and operates with an eye toward the future and an openness to change, diversity, and inclusion. The ACC is a haven for approximately 1,500 members and their families.As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to continue a long tradition of excellent service while being able to make an impact through the introduction of new ideas and contributing to the club staff's identity.
