The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction.Work Schedule: Part-time: 10 – 38 hours/weekPay Starts at: $13/hrGRILL AND LINE RESPONSIBILITIES:Set up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report and follow instructionsClean up station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersGRILL AND LINE COOK REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cookExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksFamiliar with industry’s best practicesAbout Oberweis, part of the Hoffmann Family of Companies:Oberweis Dairy is still a family-owned business that has been serving smiles for nearly 100 years!
