Grinder Operator

As a Grinder Operator, you will perform essential operations on Grinding and Milling machines. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading parts, inspecting parts, wheel preparation, and changing. Additionally, you will be tasked with cleaning and performing preventive maintenance and minor adjustments on assigned equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate grinders, micrometers, gauges, and various power tools.
• Perform part inspection and ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct minor maintenance of machines to ensure smooth operations.
• Run and maintain the function of 2 or more machines in a cell.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in Grinder and Grinding operations.
• Experience with Machine operation and Deburring.
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints and use Calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in conventional machining such as Grinding, Milling, Drilling, and Turning.
• Previous relevant machining experience or education/training in machining is preferred, with 2+ years being advantageous.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Erlanger, KY.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
