Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, and that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. and can maneuver large, cumbersome product and equipment. Most roles require standing for a full shift with breaks.The individual must have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can vary depending on the weather. A successful candidate must confirm their ability to perform work-related physical tasks by completing a physical abilities test. This position is at our Recycle Facility on C Crew, 6:45pm to 7:00am with a 2/2/3 schedule. Night shift has a 10% differential.PAY - $22 Job Summary:The AZEK Company/Return Polymers Wilmington division is seeking a Recycle Technician for the Recycle Plant. This position reports to the Recycle Production Supervisor.Core Responsibilities:Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulationsEnsures operational goals are met each shiftStarts, operates, maintains and shuts down equipmentCompletes daily duties in accordance with workplace organization and efficiency methodologies, such as TPM and 6SMonitors performance of equipment and ensures that equipment operates to specificationsMaintains knowledge and adherence to the Bills of Process (BOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) standardsCompletes Quality Check paperwork as scheduledResponsible for detailed and accurate completion of Production Operator reports and Work OrdersDiagnoses process and equipment defects, makes minor repairs, documents work orders for other repairs and assists Maintenance personnel as neededOperates in a manner that provides value to the teamPerforms additional duties as needed and/or assigned by managementContributes to accident free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulationsEnsures operational goals are met each shiftStarts, operates, maintains and shuts down equipmentCompletes daily duties in accordance with workplace organization and efficiency methodologies, such as TPM and 6SMonitors performance of equipment and ensures that equipment operates to specificationsQualifications:Demonstrated ability to work within company valuesA minimum of 5 years in extrusion processing environment preferredProven knowledge of and experience with extrusion process and demonstrated understanding of how processing equipment worksUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and technologiesStrong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionallyExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesMust be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environmentComputer skills to include: basic input of process and quality dataAbility to share responsibility and accountabilityWork schedule flexibility to accommodate needs of the business.Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GED, required
