As a Fitness Instructor, you will plan and lead fitness classes, ensuring that people of all fitness levels are able to participate. Your goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives and have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is a positive, engaging teacher with a passion for fitness and sales.ResponsibilitiesSell Gym MembershipsLead a wide variety of classes to fitness studio members and guestsDevelop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safeEncourage students to continue with their pursuit of exercising and help them make good health decisionsPromote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networkingDeliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policiesQualificationsCurrent personal trainer or fitness instructor certificationKnowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics is preferredFirst aid and CPR-certifiedPositive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsCrossFit Level 1 or higher (preferred but not required)
