Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition: Group Fitness Instructor Classification: Part time Reports To: Fitness and Wellness Manager About Us:Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ. Position Summary:This person is responsible for teaching safe, effective exercise to clients in a group setting. Key Responsibilities:Plan and lead safe, effective, and enjoyable fitness classes (strength training, HIIT, circuit, cardio).Demonstrate proper exercise technique and form. Motivate and Inspire participants.Create a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere that builds community and confidence.Current Group Fitness certification.CPR/AED certified Qualifications:Christian Faith:Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.Educational Background/Experience:Group Exercise/Aerobic Instructor Certification (from nationally recognized certifying organization i.e., ACE, AFAA, NCSA)CPR CertificationAbility to deal with conflict in a healthy and God honoring wayPrior experience recommendedPositive, upbeat attitude Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter addressing their qualifications and commitment to the ministry mission to [email protected] Lenawee Christian Ministries is an equal opportunity employer.
