These vehicles include but are not limited to support trucks stationary carts tankers and hydrant trucks. You will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems.The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventive care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment ensuring all work is performed safely and is supported by following established procedures and protocols.What you will be doingInspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines hydraulic electrical fueling and mechanical systems.Perform monthly quarterly and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment maintain records relating to maintenance.Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment.Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health safety and security policies and procedures aassuring a clean and safe working environmentHydrate electric equipment according to the Hydration ScheduleRepair all non-motorized equipmentAble to program and understand the functions of the Rapid Charger including the Battery Monitor and Identification Device (BMID)Repair and replace all tires and wheelsPerform monthly quarterly and annual quality control checks on the equipmentAble to perform an accident inspection on involved equipmentReport all accidents to Shop Supervisors and ManagersAnswer all radioed repair calls on the rampMust be able to safely operate all vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) -Perform Daily Equipment Checks (DECs)Would you like to see more detail on the accountabilities of the role Please see the following job description for further informationSafety Security Wellbeing and Compliance:You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information training and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
