Our concept will also serve as a sought after lunch destination with a day menu offering an array off salads and lighter entrees at a lower price point.AtmosphereOur steakhouse will provide guests with a unique and invigorating ambiance. The rare-to-find terrace offers an airy charming area with a retractable awning for a brunch or lunch encounter as well as a classic candle-lit atmosphere in the evenings. The interiors daylight hours will serve as an amiable dining space soaked with sunrays as they shine through an enormous skylight creating a stunning environment for business and casual lunches.With music pouring from a grand piano and a warm glow exuding from the indoor fireplace these elements will allow guests to enjoy the best quality steaks in Los Angeles in a restaurant steeped in elegance and sophistication.Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant serve as the perfect setting for corporate meetings private parties award banquets or VIP restaurant functions. The private dining area has been designed to encompass a wide range of appeal including serving as an elegant event space for any type of occasion.What We Expect:Hosts will reports to the Baltaire Management team to oversee all matters of communication between the restaurant managers and guests. This includes the direction of OpenTable holidays incident solutions and guest requests. Essential and other important responsibilities and duties mayinclude but are not limited to the below;Responsibilities:FunHospitableHard-workingWarm and friendly demeanorAbility to show warmth empathy and hospitality through polished phone skills.Ability to be on your feet for an entire shift.Ability to keep up with business needs within the restaurantTeam PlayerPositive attitudeSupport the service team to ensure guest needs/requirements are met in a timely manner.Detail-orientedProfessional appearance and behavior at all times.Walk with graceful efficiency through the dining room to assist with service demands.Work with spreadsheets to handle lost items lost credit cards messages for managers complaints and large party requests.Make calls for the following days reservations noting any requests and confirming what we can offer guests.Being knowledgeable of all policies and procedures relevant to guests and if no answer is available within the set parameters taking down guest information to call them back.Field event and regular voicemails and complete event inquiries with guests over the phoneBe astutely aware of all aspects of OpenTable: how to make reservations reservation waitlists etc.Answer department telephone using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.Able to maintain flexible work schedule including overtime as needed.Ideal Candidate Will Have:A minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-oriented or administrative position within a customer-faced environment (ideally fine dining).Must have OpenTable experience.High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate college degree.Must be detail oriented.Must be a clear thinker remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.Punctual regular and reliable attendance.Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to occasionally stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or kneel.
