Position: Guidewire QA LeadLocation: Canada / Erie PA (Onsite)Duration: Long Term Job Description:Collaborate with client QA Team and other client stakeholders to understand systemrequirements and ensure accurate testing.Collaborate with developers and offshore QA Team to understand the system gaps and execute client requirementsDevelop test cases based on business requirements and system specifications.Execute test cases and scenarios ensuring thorough testing coverage.Test and validate complex business rules and workflows.Provide an accurate level of efforts and estimates for manual testing tasksAble to work independently as well as thrive in a team environmentUtilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes and deliver high-quality software solutions.Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance overall quality and efficiency.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Guidewire Policy system testing and P&C insurance. Required Skills:Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in testing Guidewire Claim Center Configuration and Insurance Suite applications (Policy Center Billing Center Contact Manager) Integration implementations.Strong understanding of P&C insurance including both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines.Experience in Claims creation FNOLs Reserves Checks and other payment transactionsAnalyst Associate certification in Guidewire is a plusExperience in manual Testing in Guidewire Cloud Projects Upgrade or ImplementationExperience in Guidewire Automation TestingExperience in adapting Testing Standards and Best practicesExperience in gap assessment of requirements and OOTB functionalitiesStrong technical skills in manual functional testing in a continuous delivery environment.Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM Jira ADO Rally or similar.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen diligence.Experience working in Agile environment following Onsite Offshore mode.Mentor junior QA team members providing guidance support and technical expertise to help them grow and develop in their roles.Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable.Strong technical skills in non-functional testing in a continuous delivery environmentFunctional Knowledge / hands on any of the other Guidewire XCenters namely Policy Center Billing Center and Contact ManagerExperience in Guidewire Automation Testing using Guidewire GT UI Framework.   Regards ManojDerex Technologies INCContact : Ext 206Additional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Change Management,Corporate Communications,Apache Commons,Compensation,Civil Quality Control Experience: years Vacancy: 1
