Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Take Ten Tire & Service is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Heavy Duty Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients requiring heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and professional service experience. If you have a passion for trucks and heavy equipment and excellent communication skills, we invite you to apply and grow with us.Essential FunctionsPromptly meet and greet every service customer in a friendly and courteous manner.Listen to customers' reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department.Provide logical diagnostic services or repairs to address customers' concerns.Provide accurate estimates for all recommended services or repairs.Maintain communication with the technicians and shop foreman regarding job status changes.Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings with courtesy and tact, without further aggravating the situation.Make policy adjustments within the guidelines and budgets established by management.Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, and always satisfy the caller's inquiry.Write and complete work orders, explain the work to the customer, and collect payments.Strive to ensure that every customer is delighted with the shop's service.Provide superior customer service at all times.Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company.Perform other duties as required by management.Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times while conducting business.Reasonable accommodations may enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, provided they do not impose an undue hardship on the company.Requirements: 2 years of experience as a Heavy Duty mechanic or related experienceHD diagnosticsMechanical knowledgeVehicle maintenanceService technician experienceCustomer service skillsSales experienceService writing capabilitiesKnowledge of HD servicesFamiliarity with transmissions, oil changes, air brake systems, alignment, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and brake repair.Compensation details: 20-28 Hourly WagePIbf52f92308c1-25405-39006161
