What You Will Do:

Perform basic inspection, repair, and final assembly of head assemblies. Work from standard work, procedures, and drawings. Basic understanding of powder making process and importance of head assemblies. Basic understanding of atomization failure modes and how to diagnose each. Maintain inventory records. Perform basic shop maintenance including cleaning when necessary. Participate in periodic tower cleaning (tower dive). Support the cell's continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment. Adhere to Quality guidelines, including participating in plantwide FOD initiatives. Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader. May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.

Qualifications You Must Have:

HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) Good attendance record Strong communication skills Ability to work from heights up to 60' Ability to wear a respirator Strong mechanical aptitude The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
