Head Brewer ResponsibilitiesSupervises all activity in the brewhouse and cellar; coordinates and schedules all production activitiesLead new product development with reformulation and innovative techniques to create new and exciting flavor experiences.Experience with THC beveragesManage and plan brew schedule, document and regularly communicate the schedule to the leadership team and staffCoordinate purchasing and inspection of raw material ingredientsAuthor new and edit existing SOPs. Manage brewing logs and beer record-keeping files.Maintain brewing areas to ensure compliance with company quality, sanitation, and safety standardsMaintain inventory supply of malt, hops, yeast, and other brewery supplies to keep up with productionHead Brewer Requirements2+ years of professional brewing experience in a similar role. Formal brewing education is a big plusPossess basic mechanical skills, and troubleshooting/problem-solving skillsPlanning and scheduling of production to meet new product launch objectives.Budgeting and ability to set priorities to work within well-defined financial targets and guidelines.Strong customer orientation. Ability to communicate with customers regarding their recipes and ingredients. Passion for people and beer.Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.Highly motivated, self-starting, and resourceful.
