JOB SUMMARYIndividuals occupying coaching positions are responsible for developing fundamental skills and an understanding of the rules of the sport in participants modeling and fostering cooperation sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Coaches determine the system of play to be used and develop and implement best strategies and methods to carry out the system. They are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for participants ensuring their eligibility and monitoring their behavior. Coaches issue and inventory equipment maintain financial and other related records and perform other related duties as assigned.SALARYStipend $7620 - $ based on current salary schedule2025-26 AAA Salary Schedule.Salary placement determined by Human Resources DOE.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThe successful candidate will possess knowledge of the sport and experience in coaching demonstrating effective skills strategies and techniques and the ability to take a concept/skill from learning through implementation to mastery; be a role model with the skills to build a cohesive team; be a positive motivator and skilled communicator; work well with students staff parents and the community.Have demonstrated successful coaching experience either at the head or assistant levelPossess or be willing to obtain a valid First Aid/CPR card.APPLICATION PROCEDUREComplete all steps of the online application process so that we may fully consider you.
