We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Permanent Head of Global Talent Acquisition to join our team in the construction industry. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization by attracting and hiring top talent worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing our global talent acquisition strategy, while also driving operational efficiency and effectiveness. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, and who has a proven track record of success in managing high-volume recruitment across multiple markets.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a global talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our business goals, promotes diversity and inclusion, and positions us as an employer of choice in the construction industry.
2. Lead a high-performing talent acquisition team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to ensure the achievement of recruitment targets and key performance indicators.
3. Own and manage the CRM and ATS systems, leveraging recruiting technology to streamline processes, improve candidate experience, and enhance data-driven decision making.
4. Collaborate with business leaders and HR partners to understand hiring needs and market trends, and to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies.
5. Drive operational excellence in recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards, and promoting a positive candidate experience.
6. Leverage analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies and initiatives, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and industry organizations, to enhance our talent pipeline.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification would be an advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in talent acquisition, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven success in leading organizations producing hundreds of starts per month across multiple markets.
4. Strong expertise in implementing and optimizing recruiting technology, including CRM and ATS systems.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive strategy and decision making.
6. Strong operational discipline, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
7. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
9. Strong commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
10. Ability to travel as needed to support global recruitment activities.
