We build economic infrastructure for internet businesses of every size in pursuit of this mission. The Global Payments Performance team is part of Stripes broader Customer Success organization and the teams mission is to help Stripe and its users reduce costs optimize conversion reduce fraud and effectively respond to changes in the payments landscape. Today Stripe is live in 42 markets and the team is situated across multiple global offices to support Stripes growth around the world.What youll doWe are looking for a Payment Performance leader to set and execute the strategy for the Americas team including supporting new user adoption of Stripe existing user growth through payment excellence increasing the early success our new payments users have with Stripe and increasing our visibility across the payment industry. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity; think strategically and analytically about business product and technical challenges; as well as earn trust with and influence others. A strong sense of ownership drive to have an impact and entrepreneurial spirit are musts.ResponsibilitiesImprove the quality of Stripes payments products through consultation with product and R&D teamsIncrease user acquisition and user retention through direct user engagement scaled workshops and thought leadershipAccelerate the adoption of payments software and services products by advising on product development assisting with GTM strategy and conducting trainingsElevate Stripes reputation within the payments community by engaging with users analysts and payments consultantsDevelop a team of 6 strategists with deep expertise and strong industry visibility that meets the highest performance standardsDevelop the long-term vision and strategy for a growing team and scale day-to-day operationsContinuously pushing the depth of optimization and expertise that Stripe can bring to our usersBuild and lead a team of senior Payment Performance Strategists across the regionCoach mentor and guide the team in developing its regional narrative and consultative approachDevelop relationships with regional and global leadership to ensure that the team is optimally placed to deliver value for Stripe and its usersWork cross-functionally within Stripe to provide expertise on major strategic initiativesEngage directly with the leadership teams of our most strategic users as an executive sponsor or through Stripes executive briefingsRequirements15 years of experience in payments or operations at a leading technology company or consultancy in the payments industry.Experience building and leading high performing teams.5 years managing senior level ICs or managing managersA proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with cross-functional leaders and teams.The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured fast-moving environment.Experience presenting directly to senior stakeholders in both an internal and client facing setting.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong data processing and analytical skills.Understanding of card network rules and regulations local payment methods and the regulatory environmentRequired Experience:Director Key Skills Marketing & Promotions,Attorney At Law,Jni,Airlines,Art Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
