What You Can ExpectAs the Head of Project Delivery you will provide strategic leadership for a rolling portfolio of projects proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure successful outcomes.Leading a team of two to five direct reports including Project Managers Field Managers Quality Managers Pre-Construction Managers and Commissioning Managersyou will set strategic directions and deliver tactical guidance to ensure scopes schedules and budgets are achieved and managed for success. You will shape strategic project objectives and oversee execution from late-stage development through final pre-construction and construction. This includes contributing to pre-engineering and constructability reviews contractor pre-qualification to secure optimal project execution. Throughout you will ensure safety quality cost environmental landowner and legal requirements are met or exceeded while delivering on project goals.Provide strategic leadership and direction for projects from late-stage development through the final development phase approximately 612 months before the start of constructionSupport the Pre-Construction Department by actively participating in the contracting RFP process for assigned projects through contract executionManage integration between development and construction execution functions for committed projectsProvide tactical leadership for the preparation and maintenance of detailed project execution strategies including contracting strategies construction plans schedules and budgetsEnsure successful project execution by implementing construction management tools and best practices for each projectOversee the balance-of-plant process preparation of turbine installation bid documents and the Request for Proposal process and assist with the negotiation of construction contractsProvide leadership during construction activities ensuring safety quality schedule cost environmental landowner and other project requirements are met or exceededWhat Youll BringMinimum Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related technical fieldAt least 15 years of experience in utility scale energy including renewable energy or industrial construction or capital project managementExpertise in construction management for large projects including contract management procurement supply chain environmental building permitting and transportation logisticsKnowledge of U.S and Canada construction labor relations and familiarity with industry standards and codes including UBC IBC ACI AISC CRSI NFPA and ANSIProficiency in interpreting technical documents and drawings in AutoCAD GIS and other relevant software as well as land surveying methods aerial photography mapping (including UTM and NAD coordinate systems) and geospatial referencesExperience with project and construction management software platforms such as Procore and Microsoft Project OnlineProven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment performing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail organizational commitment and confidentialityAdditional DetailsThis role is in Broomfield; CO with a hybrid in-office schedule; remote work is not available Must be available to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time by airplane and carMust possess a valid U.S. drivers license/clean driving record for the use of company or rental vehicles with ability to drive to offsite meetings and or site locationsMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensationSalary Range: $225000 $325000 USD annually This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.
