Our summer league team embodies teamwork positivity and personal growthand were looking for a dynamic coach to lead our swimmers through a fun and competitive season.Position OverviewThe Head Swim Team Coach will oversee all aspects of the River Place Rapids summer swim team. This role includes leading practices managing assistant coaches planning meets and fostering a supportive environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and lead daily practices for multiple age groups (518 years old)Provide stroke instruction technique development and motivational supportSupervise and mentor assistant coachesCoordinate and oversee all swim meets including lineups and meet strategyCommunicate regularly with parents swimmers and club staffPromote sportsmanship safety and a positive team cultureAssist with optional preseason and postseason clinics (if available)QualificationsPrevious coaching experience in competitive or recreational swim programsStrong knowledge of all swim strokes starts and turnsExcellent leadership communication and organizational skillsStrongpeople skills and ability to provide diplomacy when neededAbility to create a fun encouraging environment while fostering skill developmentCurrent Lifeguard Certification CPR/First Aid and American Red Cross USSSA YMCA or ASCA swim instructor certification requiredSchedule & CompensationSeason runs April through JuneMorning and/or evening practices plus weekend meetsCompetitive pay based on experienceHow to ApplyPlease send your resume and a brief introduction to with the subject line:Head Swim Coach Application River Place CC.Join us and help make this season unforgettable for our Rapids swimmers!
