Belmont Village Cardiff by the Sea - Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am-5:00pmABOUT THE ROLEAs a Wellness Coordinator at Belmont Village, you will oversee and manage clinical and care aspects of the community while supporting the Director of Nursing in wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance and quality monitoring. You must be a licensed nurse – LVN, LPN or RN. You will communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and team members as needed ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. You will lead and provide direction to Caregivers and Medication Technicians where applicable. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness CenterFollow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care informationAdminister medication to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessaryEnsure resident care and service plans are followed by supervising Medication Technicians and CaregiversMake appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict resolution constructivelyUpdate and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reportsAssist the Director of Resident Care Services in regulatory compliance and enhancing resident satisfactionAssist in maintaining and training of infection control and hazard communication programsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSActive LVN or LPN nursing license in the State in which this community is locatedCPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hireMinimum one year of medication administration experience preferredPrior supervisory experience preferredMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishIntermediate computer and mobile device skillsProfessional, pleasant and team oriented attitudeConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityPlease note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
