Health Informatics Specialist III (Remote)


Pride Health is hiring a Health Informatics Specialist III for one of its clients in Pennsylvania.

This is a 12-month contract with a possible extension, with competitive pay and benefits.


The position is fully remote.

Pay range: $48 - $53 an Hour on a W2

Location: Remote (Pennsylvania)

Duration: 12 months of contract (Possibility of an extension)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 5x8 Hr

Job Summary

The Health Informatics Specialist III serves as an experienced clinical informatics consultant, partnering with clinical, operational, and technology teams to design, implement, optimize, and support healthcare information systems and virtual care solutions. This role focuses on improving clinical workflows, driving technology adoption, supporting telehealth and remote patient monitoring initiatives, and ensuring effective knowledge transfer to internal teams.


Job Duties

  • Lead and support telehealth, virtual care, and clinical informatics initiatives.
  • Conduct current-state assessments, workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and future-state design.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders to implement and optimize healthcare technology solutions.
  • Facilitate design sessions, testing, operational readiness, adoption, and change management activities.
  • Perform process improvement, gap analysis, risk assessment, and workflow redesign efforts.
  • Support Epic-related projects, system enhancements, and interoperability initiatives.
  • Develop governance recommendations, KPI frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Create reusable tools, workflow standards, documentation, and training materials.
  • Mentor internal team members and support capability transfer to ensure long-term organizational success.


Education and Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of nursing, clinical, or healthcare operations experience.
  • 3+ years of health informatics experience.
  • Experience with telehealth implementation, remote patient monitoring, and clinical workflow redesign.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, healthcare operations, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with process improvement, change management, and healthcare technology implementations.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and transfer knowledge to internal resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic experience.
  • Experience with ambulatory operations, pediatric healthcare, digital patient engagement, virtual nursing, hospital-at-home programs, and AI-enabled virtual care.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and change management experience.
