Health Information Records Technician, Full-Time at Community Hospital

Job Title: Health Information Records TechnicianSummary:The Health Information Records Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate patient health records in compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves coordinating incoming data monitoring orders and referrals supporting release of information and ensuring the integrity of patient records within the electronic health system.Responsibilities:Manage incoming information from the Health Information Exchange (HIE) by assigning data to providers workloads.Monitor and reconcile the Overdue Orders Queue to ensure timely completion.Track and maintain referral orders for specialty practices.Assist with maintaining ambulatory medical records (AMB).Monitor designated direct message inboxes; acknowledge and/or link attached CCDs to patient records.Monitor the HIE-sent CCD queue; acknowledge patients and link CCDs to patient records.Provide backup and support for Release of Information following agency protocols and all applicable Federal State Local OSHA and HIPAA regulatory standards.Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and multitasking skills.Ability to research collect process and send records and notifications accurately.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations required.Compensation & Posting Details:Hiring Range: $19.00 $23.75 per hour depending on education and experience.Posting Open Until: December 31 2025Required Experience:IC Key Skills Abinitio,Administration And Accounting,Android,Bid Management,Inventory Management,Embedded C Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 19 - 23
