This team provides audit services review and compilation services and other agreed upon audit procedures to a variety of client sizes and industries.The successful candidate will work exclusively with Withums Healthcare Services group providing audit services to healthcare organizations. But our commitment goes beyond our clients as we continue to live theWithum Way promoting personal and professional growth for all team members clients and surrounding communities.How Youll Spend Your Time:Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit review or compilation engagement to effectively and efficiently provide world-class client serviceOverseeing the day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing planning risk assessment fieldwork financial reporting and the conclusionProviding supervision and support to the engagement staff and promote open communication to the engagement manager and partnerCollaborating with managers and partners on client issue resolutions and making recommendations for any legal regulatory and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagementReviewing all scheduled and non-scheduled general ledger accounts for accurate entriesManaging multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlinesCreating and tracking engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies that may arise during the auditConducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordinglyServing in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leaderThe Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:Bachelors Degree in AccountingLicensed CPA or working towards CPA certificationAt least 2 years of public accounting experience with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staffExperience serving clients in the healthcare industry including healthcare systems hospitals post-acute care facilities and both for-profit and not-for-profit entitiesUnderstanding of uniform guidance as it relates to healthcare organizationsExcellent analytical technical and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP due to the complexity of the engagements in this sectorExceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsAbility to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing fast-paced interactive results-based team environmentStrong leadership training and mentoring skills coupled with excellent verbal written and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to clients managementExcellent analytical organizational project management skills strong attention to detail and proven innovativeproblem-solvingskillAbility to travel as neededThe compensation for this position ranges from $75000-$105000. In addition to the base compensation Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role hiring location as well as the individuals skills experience and qualifications.
