Consultants are responsible for building relationships with clients directing projects and presenting results. Project managers work directly with analysts by reviewing work answering questions and developing client correspondence. Analysts are responsible for the majority of the technical work which may include analyzing data completing actuarial calculations developing and utilizing actuarial models and implementing software solutions.Job Responsibilities Import transform and validate large healthcare data sets from multiple sources.Develop optimize and maintain data processes and workflows to support analytic and reporting needs.Perform data profiling and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.Build custom reports and exhibits to communicate findings and support client decision-making.Collaborate with Milliman professionals to interpret results and deliver insights.Participate in Millimans quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to Millimans quality standards.Balance multiple client projects simultaneously spending time on data management analysis automation and reporting.Minimum requirementsBachelors degree in data Analytics Computer Science Mathematics Public Health Economics or a related field.2 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.Solid understanding of data structures data integration and reporting concepts.Experience with SQL and data manipulation and management.Ability to interpret clean and explain complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the Office Suite.Competencies and Behaviors that Support Success in this RoleProficiency in database architecture healthcare claims data and information technology.Analytical thinker able to assess problems logically.Strong communication skills and experience working with a team.Detailed and organized.Fast learner.Determined to solve challenging technical problems with an eye towards quality results.Take personal responsibility for their work and are motivated to succeed.Individual(s) must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman now or in the future.LocationCandidates hired into this role will work a hybrid schedule working both remotely and from our Milliman office in Tampa Florida.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees health financial security and well-being.
