Heavy Assembly Technician, 5 Month Project at Fermilab, (Batavia, IL) Our client, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory, is looking for an experienced Heavy Assembly Technician for a full-time basis. The Heavy Assembly Technician will assist in scintillator plane assembly. Assist in scintillator plane assembly & test for the detectors that are to be used in underwater detectors. All candidates must have an unexpired REAL ID or USA Passport to enter the work site. Worksite location: Batavia, IL 60510 Estimated Project length: 5 months. (Can be extended) Full Time Position (40-hour work week) Must have at least 3 years of experience with System & Component assembly: Heavy Assembly work Experience with floor jacks, Heavy equipment movement, crane experience Only qualified FermiLab employees will be operating cranes and forklifts Required Physical Ability Perform repetitive lifting of moderate weight All resumes must be submitted by Friday 4/10/26.
