For additional information about our company visit our website at POSITION SCOPEThe Project Engineer will be responsible for planning developing coordinating and managing onsite construction activities for heavy civil construction projects to ensure quality and cost. This position will be a travelling position where the qualified applicant will be required to integrate and travel with a project team or paving crew to assist with all functions of the project. The individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Some night and weekend work will be required. Traveling is required. $1500 Sign-On Bonus!* Bonuses Payable following 90 days of employment PRIMARY DUTIESManage job controls to ensure compliance with contract budget schedule forecasting and job costingSupervise direct and assist project staff to ensure individual development and that project standards are met and work is completed on time and under budgetDevelop and maintain project schedule and daily costs to ensure work is completed on time and under budgetProvide technical support in construction planning quality control application of construction methods resolution and documentation of design conflicts and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completionRepresent company during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communicationDevelop and maintain all material and submittal logsReview analyze management and resolution of field coordination issues within project team Interpret project plans specifications and details for subcontractors and craft personsPerform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTSBachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience3 years of construction estimating support engineering field support or similar experienceProficiency with Blue Beam and OST preferred but not requiredProficiency with Heavy Job and HCSS preferred but not requiredValid drivers license and acceptable MVR in accordance with Company Vehicle Program policy is requiredAbility to pass a pre-employment drug test is requiredAbility to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees cold and rainMUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL Fisher Industries is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
