This role is responsible for managing field crews and subcontractors, maintaining strict safety standards, coordinating traffic control operations, and ensuring work is completed on schedule and to specification. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with hands-on experience in roadway, bridge, and utility construction who thrives in fast-paced, night-shift environments. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise all night shift field operations on assigned projects - Direct multiple crews and subcontractors to meet production, safety, and quality goals - Oversee traffic control operations, including lane closures and coordination in live traffic environments - Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements - Monitor productivity, schedule adherence, and cost performance for assigned work items - Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, and materials needed for nightly operations - Complete required documentation, including daily logs, material tracking, and weekly safety reports Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction - Proven experience supervising multiple crews and subcontractors - Strong knowledge of roadway, bridge, and/or utility construction practices - Experience managing night work and traffic control operations Interested in hearing more?
