Heavy Truck Mechanic . Vactor sewer equipment/ Hydro Excavation/ Box Trucks/ Pickups/ Mechanically inclined

Work in Manassas VA

Pay Rate: $60,000 - $85,000.00+ per year depending on experience. 40+ hour weeks if you want them. Will need to be "on call" 2 Saturdays per month

EXTREMELY OPEN TO CANDIDATES WILLING TO WORK SWING SHIFTS, NIGHTS AND OR WEEKENDS

WIRING diagnostics and repair experience REQUIRED.

VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED

We are looking for a Diesel mechanic to assist with maintaining our fleet of equipment alongside our other in house mechanics. Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities Include:

• wiring diagnostics required
• hydraulics/wiring/diag/PM experience required
• Positive attitude
• Good work ethic
• Previous heavy equipment experience
• Ability to stay productive throughout the day without constant direction
• Able to keep shop clean and organized
• Able to keep good record keeping of problems addressed
• Willing to work outside in the elements as needed
• Willing to do road calls as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Experience working on construction equipment
• Good understanding of diesel motors and hydraulic systems
• Ability to weld, prep/paint, fabricate, diagnose, look up/order parts is a plus
• Change oil, turn wrenches, fix problems that arise on equipment
• PROBLEM SOLVE
