Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis position is based out of Fairview, WV. We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic with experience to maintain and repair heavy equipment. Responsibility for troubleshooting issues and fixing them, aiming to maximum reliability and functionality.  We are seeking hard working, motivated individuals. If you are interested in pursuing a career with great potential, we want you! Pay Type:            Salary Non-ExemptPay Range:         $55,000 - $85,000 (W/ Production Bonus)Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be experienced in troubleshooting and repair of equipment and large trucks or similar:Truck: 777B/777D740/740BA40G VolvoA45G VolvoTrack Hoe: 320B324EL345B & CCX330Loader:938K950K988BDozer: D6ND6RD6TD7H/D7RD8TD8ND9LD10N/D10R/D10TConduct routine maintenance work (replacing components, parts, fluids etc.) aiming to functionality and longevityRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)Keep logs on work performed and issues corrected, with documented machine numbers and hours.Maintain equipment and tools in good conditionExperienceFive plus (5) years of proven experience as Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic is needed.Valid certifications (e.g. Diesel and industrial Technology) is a definite plusValid Commercial CDL License is also a plusJob RequirementsMust be 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED, preferredCertification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferredValid driver’s license and clean driving recordReliable transportationRegular and punctual attendanceExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of Equipment/Vehicles.Working knowledge of Equipment diagnostic systems and methods.
